Milan-based Dimorestudio designs the interiors for Dior’s private lounge, part of the brand’s new womenswear boutique in Doha’s Place Vendôme mall.
Milan-based Dimorestudio has ushered Dior’s presence in Doha into a new realm of elegance with the Dior Doha Vendôme Salon, a refined private lounge nestled within the women’s boutique at Doha’s Place Vendôme mall. Conceived as an exclusive sanctuary where Very Important Clients (VICs) can explore haute couture in privacy and luxury, this intimate retreat spans approximately 233 square metres and is accessible strictly by appointment.
Crafting the Dior DNA in Spatial Form
The lounge is a masterclass in translating Dior’s rich heritage into spatial storytelling. Dimorestudio adeptly references the Maison’s DNA through layers of opulent detailing: gold leaf accents are lavishly applied to custom furnishings and fixtures, while a reinvented Toile de Jouy pattern, integral to Dior’s aesthetic, graces the wallcoverings and upholstery, evoking a timeless elegance. Original artwork by Claire Basler, characterised by its delicate florals, reinforces the thematic continuity and imbues the salon with artistic grace.
Three Chambers of Exclusive Experience
The lounge unfolds across three distinct yet interconnected spaces:
The main salon, carefully appointed to display ready-to-wear dresses with theatrical finesse.
The fine jewellery area, where precious pieces find a fittingly luxurious backdrop.
The made-to-order space, offering VIP clients tailored consultations in utmost discretion.
Each room is curated to resonate with its specific function, yet unified through Dimorestudio’s overarching theme of baroque elegance and intimate luxury.

A standout is a rare Louis XVI De Brelan table from the 1800s, alongside a Cini Boeri sofa upholstered in a bespoke, embroidered fabric created exclusively by Dimorestudio.
